The “Aegean Power” –A new aframax to Arcadia Shipmanagement Co. Ltd

The company has taken over the management of the “Aegean Power”, a newbuilding aframax tanker, built at Samsung Heavy Industries.

The name was given by Mrs. Birgitte Madsen, wife of the President and Chairman of Executive Board of Det Norske Veritas, at a ceremony in Geoje Island, South Korea with the presence of H.E. the Ambassador of Greece in Korea Mr. Constantin Drakakis, the President of Samsung Heavy Industries Mr. J. W. Kim and other officials from the shipping industry.

During the naming ceremony the owners hoisted the Greek flag.
